Last week when I heard about Earth Hour and the following darkness, I thought it was a great idea, but then I realized that I had missed it. I try to keep up with the news and times, and usually do a good job of it, but somehow missed this event. Then I heard that my hometown, Arlington, Virginia was a participant, I was very disapointed that I had not heard of it from my local government. After all, Arlington prides itself on being the "greenest" county in Northen Virginia.
I definately would have participated had I known about it.
